Border Patrol Giving Ground In San Diego

Radio station KFMB (AM 760) is reporting that the Border Patrol continues to play "Catch and Release" with illegal immigrants that are being caught trying to infiltrate the border in the San Diego sector.

The Border Patrol has changed its policy. The only illegals that are now being detained for any length of time at all are those that are wanted by other American law-enforcement agencies. Personnel are reporting that they are simply "Overwhelmed" by the numbers of illegals caught.

So much for the "War on Terror" along the Southern Border.

Most persons detained by the Border Patrol are quickly returned to the Tijuana port of entry, where they are free to "try their luck" again later that evening.
