One More Being Left Behind

California high school teacher Jan Roberts writes a column (archives here.) for The North County Times, which serves San Diego and Riverside counties. She addresses a number of topics, including those arising from her teaching job.

In her latest piece, she writes engagingly about an ordinary teachin day which wound-up being filled with tears over the life-changing choice that one of her hard-working young men felt that he was being forced to make.
