Quiet Crossing

We arrived safely here in Tamassee, SC early Monday morning. An uneventful tip without any of the excitement that we experienced during the June crossing.

We did not see a drop of rain or a flake of snow during the entire 2164 mile trip.

The WifeWonk drove the entire width of Texas, from El Paso to the Louisiana state line, in one "shift." It was her versus the State of Texas and she was determined to overcome the challenge of driving the entire distance without the usual change of drivers.

Naturally, I was only too happy to oblige, slumbering peacefully away in the back seat while she kept the car pointed east and the TeenWonk sat alongside.

Since today is also our wedding anniversary, I sense a celebratory dinner in our immediate future...
