The Class Act Files: Tulane University

Forced to cancel their fall term due to the flooding, New Orleans' Tulane University has authorized its students to attend other colleges and universities. The university will accept for credit toward graduation any units earned in those institutions. Most of the receiving schools are doing their part by waiving the higher tuition charged for out-of-state students.

Kudos to Tulane University President Scott Cowen.

The school hopes to resume classes early next year.
