Blogging Hurricane Katrina: 135,000 Students Displaced

Joanne Jacobs links to a story that reports that some 135,000 children in New Orleans who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina will need to enroll (at least temporarily) in new schools. At least the government is waiving the usual paperwork and residency requirements in order to facilitate things.
