High Noon For California's Exit Exam?

Amid all the hoopla over a preliminary court ruling throwing out the "must pass" provisions of California's high school exit exam, the matter is still not settled. A final ruling is expected by this Friday.

Recently, our associate Kimberly Swygert
examined the issues surrounding the controversial exam (known as the CAHSEE) as well as the legal maneuvering that has been going on to derail its scheduled implementation.

Meanwhile, back in June of 2005,
we predicted three possible outcomes for the CAHSEE, none of which included the exam being used as originally planned.
