Dancing For Dollars In Arizona

A couple of high schools have found a productive way for students to burn-off some of that excess energy while raising funds for the school:
Partying all night and day is almost always fun — but it's even more enticing when you're doing it for a good cause.

Music students at Amphitheater and Canyon del Oro high schools have teamed up to host Band Dance 2006, a 24-hour dance marathon to raise money for the schools' music programs.

The money will go toward uniforms, travel and other necessities for the concert band, marching band, jazz band, and percussion and orchestra students at the two schools.

Local bands participating include Arlington View, 2-Son Productions, Haleyjane and the Provocative Whites Government Cheese.
It remains unclear whether or not shower breaks will be provided.
