More Education-Related SCOTUS News

Do colleges and universities have the right to bar military recruiters from their campus in this time of undeclared war? The United States Supreme Court is will hear arguments this Tuesday on the matter.

What is not being decided is whether or not public high schools must continue to turnover sensitive student contact information to military recruiters
as required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act.

In the interest of full disclosure, I must say that I am opposed to anyone outside of schools, law-enforcement, and child-welfare agencies having the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of children.

I strongly feel that such confidential information should only be disseminated on a "need-to-know" basis.
