What Is A Teacher?

Quincy, over at News, The Universe, and Everything is asking for comments to the above question. Quincy writes:

"I'd like anyone who sees this to leave his or her answer to the above question in the comments section. The point of all this is to get an (admittedly small) piece of the blogosphere's opinion on what a teacher is and then compare that with the ed schools' visions. Also, if you run a blog, I would appreciate it if you could post a link to this so I can get more readers to answer."
