Is This Sort Of Thing Happening Near Your Child's School?

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that a recent round-up of sex offenders in Chicago netted 31 residents that were breaking the law.

The law stipulates that sex offenders may not live closer than 500 feet to any school or park.

Sheriff Michael Sheahan indicated that the 31 individuals arrested were all living "inconspicuously near potential victims."

So the question is: "Are any of these types of people living close to YOUR child's school? And if so, why isn't anything being done about it?"
