Kofi Annan FINALLY Going?

Just A Symptom....
Staffers at the United Nations are preparing a vote of "No Confidence" on the leadership of Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

This would be the first such vote in the 60 year history of the U.N. There are a variety of reasons why this man is long overdue for "retirement."
  • He has refused to reform the inept and totally corrupt UN bureaucracy.
  • Annan continues to obstruct investigations into the bloated UN budget.
  • The Secretary General turned a "blind eye" to the growing scandal involving the so-called "Oil For Food" program, which was nothing less than a scheme for filling Saddam Hussein's treasury.
  • His son Kojo is involved in the "Oil For Food" scandal, which illustrates the rampant nepotism found within the Byzantine system of offices and programs at the UN. Even thought the father cannot be held accountable for the actions of his grown son, the fact that such an atmosphere of nepotism and corruption is allowed to even exist can be attributed to Kofi Annan.

Obviously, anyone with even the tiniest amount of morality would have resigned long before it reached this stage. Since his term doesn't end until 2006, it's obvious that Kofi Annan wishes to continue enjoying his well-paid sinecure...

The only hope of cleaning-up the cess pool of inequity is for the United Nations itself to vote this rascal out of office.

He is symbolic of everything that is wrong with the useless "debating society" that the United Nations has become. As we have said before, should the UN abdicate this important responsibility at this critical juncture, it would be better for these parasites to find a more suitable host.
