UN Autocrat Koffi Annan To Face The Music

Both Fox News and CNN are reporting that United Nations Secretary General Koffi Annan will face a vote of "No Confidence" very soon. In the long history of the United Nations, no Secretary General has ever lost such a vote. We think that its high time Koffi Annon found another line of work.

Here at the 'Wonks, we have a novel idea. America pays for some 22% of the UN's operating expenses and the people of New York City put up with all the shenanigans that UN "diplomats" pull while living there.

To be fair, let's have the votes "weighted" according to how much money each country throws away contributes to the "kitty."

Considering all of the corruption to be found in the UN, (Even Kofi Annan's son Kojo has enriched himself.) maybe its time to finally have an American hold the post. Seems logical, as we Americans pay more of the costs than any other country.
