Here's the latest installment in our occasional series about laws that were enacted to help teachers and students but wind-up being re-interpreted by school administrators:

Every restroom shall at all times be maintained and cleaned regularly, fully operational and stocked at all times with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels or functional hand driers.

California Education Code: Section 35292.5
