Settling Those First Day Jitters

North Hills School District, which is near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is conducting workshops for first time school bus riders:

The 60- to 90-minute programs are open to all school families and include a short bus ride, a video and a discussion about bus safety. District officials, Laidlaw Transit officials and local police will address questions or concerns from pupils and their families. Reservations are not required.

I can remember being eight-years-old and being so worried about having to ride the school bus for the first time.
