Five Student-Inspired Myths About Teachers

These come from a book called: 1003 Great Things About Teachers, which was written by Ann Hodgman , Patricia Marx, and Lisa Birnbach. (She who wrote The Official Preppy Handbook way back when.)

1. Teachers watch only PBS.

2. In order to be a teacher, you must be at least 40 years old.

3. Teachers never go to the bathroom.

4. They have an extra set of eyes in the back of their heads.

5. Teachers aren't allowed to have their own children.

Our 13 year-old daughter, (aka TeenWonk) is especially fond of that last one.
