Elementary School Students Attempt To Hijack School Bus

It is being reported that four students that attend Mapleview Elementary School, which is located in the town of Punxsutawny, Pennsylvania, attempted to hijack their school bus early today. Three boys, all aged 11, and a 10-year-old girl were involved in the conspiracy.

While the bus was proceeding on its appointed route, a boy brandished a knife at another student while ordering the driver, Janet McQuown, to pull over and get off. After pulling the bus over, McQuown got the knife away from the would-be hijacker. (The article does not say how.) The bus then continued on to its destination, where the suspects were taken into custody by school officials and the police.

This incident leaves us scratching our heads. The only thing that we can think of is that the kids wanted to play hooky from school and go visit Punxsutawny's
most famous resident.

Or maybe these little thugs just saw it on TV.
